DEAD STAR BOYS
Hello all you good people, DEAD STAR BOYS have landed, or whatever it is that bands do. Great reviews which back in the good old days of rock n roll would of seen A and R knocking our door down.
We're not one of those bands that like to give you all that sad old shit about how great we are. Other people are saying we're good, people that we've not paid to be nice to us. So we're just gonna keep plugging away and keep working on our songs.
If you check our gig page, then we might bump into you sometime this year. At least half of the gigs are FREE entry. It's tough getting gigs. Unless you're in a band playing original material you won't realise how precious the chance to get up in front of a crowd and play is. Yeah, all the gigs are down south. sorry about that, maybe next year we'll get the contacts to move North of Islington !
As yet un-named album 3 is coming along nicely. We're got most of 16 songs down on tape, so there'll possibly be a single there as well.
And we might develope the style to write a more interesting blog, but don't count on it.
Thanx.

LOUDER THAN WAR
Power chords and psychotic reactions: there’s a nervous tension at the heart of the Medway and Dead Star Boys have got it perfectly sussed. Rats, their second album, works like a distillation of our disturbed times.
VIVE le ROCK
If you’re into early Buzzcocks, you’ll love this. A rocking, revitalising, must listen !
SHINDIG MAGAZINE
Dead Star Boys deliver short, hook driven songs played with conviction and clear affection for the punk / mod lineage they inhabit.
PUNKTUATION ! Magazine
‘Rats‘ showcases Dead Star Boys‘ talent for phenomenal blasts to the ears of the grooviest and catchiest rock’n’roll! It’s wild, it’s writhing with earworms, and it’s an absolute must-listen.
FEAR AND LOATHING – Andy Pearson
Sharp, sneering and snotty, recalling highlights of The Roxy in 1977
I DON’T HEAR A SINGLE
There is such a raucous feel to the whole Dead Star Boys album. A rawness that drags you in and a hope that the energy of 1979 could be with us again.
